Spending half of his life in Atlanta and the
other half in Boston, Matt Davis has mastered the unique
ability to combine his amicable southern charm with a sharp
New England wit, and delivers a signature style that is
honest, likeable and irresistably funny.

Raised Jewish in the south by his mother and
three older sisters, Matt later migrated to Boston, Massachussets,
where he studied acting and stand-up comedy. He was inspired
to the stage by listening to classic comedy albums (such
as George Carlin, Bill Cosby, Lenny Bruce, Eddie Murphy,
Dennis Miller and Bill Hicks), and their influence on his
presence and style is evident the moment he takes the stage.
Matt Davis captures what his comedic heroes did - The TRUTH...
and it's damn funny.
Although Matt has lived in two of the most
extreme regions of the country as far as dialect is concerned,
he managed to escape without adopting either accent. When
he's not touring comedy clubs nation-wide, Matt currently
resides in Los Angeles.
Armed with only his natural charm, his powers
of perception and a smile meant for a toothpaste ad, Matt
Davis commands the stage with a fresh young approach that
you (unfortunately) don't see every time you walk into a
comedy club.
