Acid 7 is one of the hottest up and commers
to hit LA. They played to a packed Whiskey crowd Thursday
night - not easy considering Tool was down in Irvine at
the same time!
The band pounds out solid riffs in a poppy
alernative blend of vocals and instrumentals.
Their self titled album includes hit Super
Queen, and has put the band under the watchful eye
of A & R.
Band members include Tarvo, Alan, Casper & Joe.
ACID 7 formed early in 1998. The
3 song, self-titled EP was co produced and recorded by Gilby
Clarke of Guns N’ Roses and mastered by Eddy Schreyer
of Oasis Mastering (Offspring, Jane’s Addiction, Korn,
Alice in Chains to name a few). Acid 7’s influences
include everything from David Bowie and The Beatles to Led
Zeppelin and Smashing Pumpkins.
Publicity Whore recommeds them as a band to
watch closely as they seem to mow over every obstacle
in their way. Acid 7 is scheduled to play the Bash Bash
