My new favorite band in LA is 'Sex With Lurch'.
I first saw these guys at the Dragonfly last June , and
was completely blown away. They returned on Wednesday
night, and it was even more bizarre.
But I'm convinced I would be doing them a
disservice trying to use simple words to describe the sight
and sound experience of a Sex With Lurch show, so all I
will say is CHECK THEM OUT. I've seen a whole fuck-
load of bands over the years, but I've NEVER seen anything
quite like this.
(I tried to get this out in time to plug their show last
Tuesday at Spaceland, but Bill Gates and his horseshit listbuilder
weren't cooperating, and now the world has been deprived
of a Sex With Lurch plug because of it. I think you
should all write to Bill and tell him we're cool with his
monopoly of the entire computer world, just make sure the
*@^%in' #&$% works, god%$&#@!!!)
