Well, unless you were at this year's "Players Ball"
in Las Vegas - consider your title revoked. Coinciding
with the 2003 Adult Internet Convention, the Player's
Ball attracts the Who's Who of adult Webmasters, sexy
film stars & today's hottest Hip Hop recording artists.
Arriving
at C2K at the Venetian, you would have guessed Elvis
had come back to make an impromptu appearance. Hallways
and doorways were packed, and even those lucky enough
to score the coveted "VIP" passes had to swim
through a sea of bodies to make their way into the club.
This
year's performers included the true Freaks of the
Industry (as their known by) Digital Underground,
bumpin DJ's and a 4am performance by Xzibit.

What
many people don't realize is just how big and profitable
the adult internet business really is. Many of these
former $8/hr workers have built literal empires in a
matter of a few years online. The Player's Ball started
as a once a year celebration to recognize those who
were cashing in big in the industry, what it turned
into is one of the biggest parties of the year coast
to coast.

And
what would be a Player's Ball without appearances from
adult film stars Jenna Jameson & Ron Jeremy. And
while D-Money & KB handed out Woody Awards, everyone

made an appearance.

Despite
experiencing some technical difficulties early on (something
all our musician readers can relate to) the Ball proved
a great time and the drinks kept pouring til the sun
came up. And when all the tired worn out wanna be's
had exited the club, that's when the real party kicked
in. Digital Underground cranked out Hip Hop Classics
& Xzibit's performance was extremely tight. Past
Player's Balls have featured artists including Snoop
Dogg, Slick Rick, Long Beach Dub-All Stars, Eek-a -
Mouse, Fishbone, Third World, and even Ice-T.

And
when the turntables won't spin - what's a player to
do? Go get a Stoli and mack on some of the hunnies.
Even we at Publicity Whore hadn't seen tail this fine
in a while. The promoters know how to pack a club, and
keep the party bumpin.

Appearing
on stage along with Digital Underground was one very
fine female named India. She's got tight raps,
a bangin' body and is featured on the “There I
Go” cut off the "Sex & The Studio"
CD. India's own album "What They Want" is
soon to be released. "Sex & The Studio"
is an edgy 'Hip Hop meets Adult Entertainment Industry'
combination that chops it up with Hip Hop legends 'Money
B & Clee' from Digital Underground.

section where you can kick-it with celebs and watch
the show on the set aside reserved VIP couches.
