Attention all LA Hip Hop fans, this
is a show you just don't want to miss! Industry icon
Kool Keith

is coming to Earth from a far away
galaxy, and his group of mercenaries reside beneath
the cover of Thee Undatakerz. Meeting somewhere
between P-Funk and Six Feet Under, they are, in fact,
known as the best team to call for your funeral, as
well as your musical needs.
Part hip hop, part theatrical gothic,
funk and rock play a big part in the Undatakerz's
sonic quest.

THE
CHARACTERS:
THE FUNERAL DIRECTOR: You never
see his face. He is resplendent in a three-piece suit,
platform boots, white gloves, black shroud and a faceplate.
A cross between Jack The Ripper and Ozzy Osbourne,
his voice is distorted, his presence mysterious. Speaking
only to the members of his team, his job is to pick
up and drop off dead bodies. On stage he DJs on turntables
set in a coffin.
REVEREND TOM (aka Kool Keith): Swathed
in a yellow suit and wig, the Reverend's position
as preacher is to minister to the public. He delivers
the eulogies for the dead. He MCs on stage.

Publicity Whore's Craig Markley
kicks it with Kool Keith at the Key Club
M-BALMER: Short
docto's coat, scrub-colored mini skirt, white boots
to her knees, clipboard at the ready, the Embalmer
is prepared for autopsies as well as embalming. On
stage she holds her own down as an MC.
AL BURYU: Shovel
to hand, Al Buryu is always in jumpsuit overalls and
Timberlands, ready to put the dead to their final
rest in the ground. He is handy with a mic on stage
as an MC.
THE PALLBEARER:
Also in a suit, the Pallbearer has underlings to do
the actual carrying for him, he's simply supervises.
The only one of the group to be of this Earth, the
Pallbearer is the connection between our aliens and
Earthlings.

Rich musical textures cushion
the
incendiary verses of The Undatakerz.

THE MISSION
"Our mission is to take
out any musicians," says the Funeral Director
with firm conviction. "We're on a mortuary mission
to observe and not be seen, only to be understood
for what we do. We're the best at what we do lyrically
and musically."
