When Kristi Mc Hugh and Tere Joyce teamed up to produce their
own comedy show, neither knew what they were in for. Pasadena's
"IceHouse" comedy club has long been a regular stop
on the professional comedy circuit. Having featured such comedy
greats as George Carlin, Lilly Tomlin, Dana Carvey and Arsenio
Hall, fans come from far and wide & expect a great show
- just about every night of the week. "2 Blondes Walk
into a Comedy Club" debuted in May and has seen its audiences
grow from a casual 10-15 to over 100 in its short six week
run.
"We wanted to do a show that really made people cut
loose ya know, just have a great time" commented Mc Hugh
during a recent interview. "The show works because of
the blend, the comics are just damn funny." The show
was recently featured on the popular "5 O'Clock"
funnies hosted by radio personality Gino Michelini.
McHugh & Joyce can be seen at the IceHouse's Annex each
Thursday in August. Admission is $7.50...$5.50 if you mention
